Montcalm East, Autograph Collection Hotel London

This hotel is a true luxury experience. the service is exceptional, with attentive staff that offer personalized care. the spa and wellness centre are top-notch, with a variety of treatments available, including massages and body wraps. the indoor swimming pool and sauna are also a great addition to the venue.

The only minor issue I had was with the restaurant pricing, as it was on the expensive side. there are plenty of alternative options in the surrounding areas.

The staff were cute and helpful from check-in to breakfast. The hotel's location was perfect for us, just around the corner from Old Street Underground station, great for getting to a Secret Cinema Stranger Things event on Saturday. Our room was clean and had great facilities.

Great location close to Old Street Station, with easy access to transport links. Reception and concierge team were friendly and welcoming. The bar is a nice space to sit and have a drink, and the rooms have cool features like mood lighting and button-control curtains.

The spa facilities were not up to standard, with the steam room and sauna feeling grubby and in need of a good clean, according to one reviewer.

During our romantic escape, we found two great features of the hotel - comfortable beds and decent rooms. The location was also a key advantage, being conveniently located near popular attractions and public transportation. we enjoyed the nice touch of having luxurious toiletries in the bathroom.

Our experience was marred by a few negative aspects. The reception staff was rude and seemed overwhelmed, resulting in chaotic check-in and check-out processes.

We were pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail from the housekeeping team, who cleaned our room twice a day. The cafe downstairs was a great spot for meetings and work. The staff were friendly, attentive, and social, making us feel welcomed. The room was luxurious and even had a special surprise for our birthday celebration. The bar was well-stocked and reasonably priced, and the spa facilities were fantastic. We also appreciated the helpful recommendations for places to visit, eat, and shop. the hotel was a great place for business travelers or casual couples like us. Helpful staff and many restaurant options within walking distance. Complimentary water, coffee, and smartphone with 4G provided in rooms. Turn-down service and twice-a-day room cleaning provided.

The room wasnice and neat with excellent facilities. I appreciated the complimentary smartphone and the convenient location near coffee shops. Although the lighting system was too technical, it didn't diminish my overall experience. I recommend Autograph Collection.
